    We're looking for a Developer Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and report to the Director of Strategic Initiatives. In this role, you will focus on strategizing and executing developer-centric marketing campaigns. Your goal is to accelerate our developer pipeline by acquiring, activating, and converting a community of innovative developers. By leveraging creative and growth-hacking approaches, as well as your understanding of developers' needs and interests, you will create campaigns and initiatives that not only attract but inspire and convert a passionate developer base, positioning Sisense as a leader in AI-powered analytics.

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3-6 years experience in developer marketing, technical marketing, campaign management, demand generation, or technical product marketing
    • Deep understanding of the developer audience and ecosystem with the ability to contribute at strategic, operational, and tactical levels
    • Experience creating developer campaigns and messaging to that audience, experience with developer community management, and tech evangelism.
    • Experience with managing a budget, leading, and optimizing paid channel strategies (paid social, paid search, display)
    • Strong background in building, developing, and evangelizing complex technical programs
    • Active presence on GitHub, X, Reddit, or Discord, and a healthy network of contacts in the open-source/SaaS market and community
    • Ability to be nimble, think outside the box, and pivot quickly
    • Up-to-date on the latest technologies and a passion for AI/ML

    BONUS EXPERIENCE

    • Experience with product-led growth marketing
    • Background in software development or familiarity with programming languages and software development tools.
    • Experience with Cloud technologies, CI/CD practices, and software development best practices.
    • Exposure to analytics and insights platforms or open-source development tools.

    HOW YOU'LL RAMP:

    Lead and own the creation and execution of global multi-channel marketing programs and campaigns that evangelize Sisense's value to developer communities and accelerate our developer pipeline through campaigns, news outlets, content, community, and social platforms.

    What day 30 could look like:

    • You will have learned about the Sisense product
    • You will have built relationships with people in the marketing and product departments
    • You will be up-to-date on our work processes
    • You will have a strong understanding of the business needs, persona pain points, a start ideating on developer-centric initiatives that reflect this understanding

    What day 60 could look like:

    • You will set Developer Marketing KPIs and targets, and start tracking performance and learnings
    • You will have coordinated with Engineering, Product Managers, and Marketing stakeholders to create a campaign plan that aligns with overall engineering and product roadmaps
    • You will align with brand and product marketing teams to ensure consistent developer messaging and branding across developer campaigns
    • You will partner with the Developer Advocate and Strategic Initiatives team to define a strategic developer engagement plan that fosters loyalty and encourages contribution through open source participation, community boards, private advocacy, and feedback forums

    What day 90 could look like:

    • You will have worked closely with our technical content marketing manager and developer advocate to lead developer-focused campaigns, refine messaging and audiences, and optimize for conversions
    • You will be cultivating and managing a network of influencers to amplify the value of AI-powered analytics
    • You will develop novel approaches to engaging developers in the unique value presented by the Sisense platform that fosters interaction, engages their creativity, and enables them to build next-generation, ai-powered analytics products

    CO Posting: The base pay range for candidates located in Colorado is $125,000-$145,000 (/yr). The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to market location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, experience and training, education, skill sets, and other business and organizational needs. A bonus, equity, commissions, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This position may be considered a promotional opportunity. The disclosed salary range represents an estimate of the base compensation for candidates who can or will be located in Colorado. This range may vary with respect to candidates whose primary work location is outside those jurisdictions.

    NYC and CA Posting: The base pay range for candidates located in New York City and California is $125,000-$145,000 (/yr). The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to market location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, experience and training, education, skill sets, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed salary range represents an estimate of the base compensation for candidates who can or will be located in New York City or California.
