About the Role

As a Property Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financials for a portfolio of our industrial properties.

This position will manage a portfolio of Assets with a Flexible Hybrid work structure, with the expectation of at least three days per week in our Hoboken, NJ office.

Responsibilities:
Maintain accounting records and perform monthly bank reconciliations

Enter, review, and post monthly Accruals

Support property and Asset managers in review and preparation of monthly variance reports and Tenant Billing reports

Process all accounts payable for accuracy of G/L codes applied by AP team

Monitor Accounts Receivable process - monitor cash receipts, review and bill tenant recurring charges and billing adjustments.

Runs recurring monthly rental billing reports to review for accuracy is consistent with monthly budgets

Prepare CAM Reconciliations

Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed

About You

3-5 years of relevant property accounting experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

Adept at Excel formulas including, but not limited to, V-lookups, Pivot tables and sum-ifs

Experience with Yardi software required

Detail oriented, analytical, strong organizational skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, works well under pressure and possess the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize effectively

Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent oral and written communication skills
