- Familiarity with fluid or structural analysis

- 3+ years of professional experience in analysis within the Aerospace Field
- 2+ years thermal analysis experience
- 2+ years experience in FEA analysis
- Familiarity with ANSYS

Description
An aerospace and defense company is seeking a Thermal Analyst, who will be the primary simulation expert for the design team.
Their primary responsibilities center around the technical and analytical support for propulsion products from preliminary design phase through detailed design, testing & validation, production, and operations.
This person will determine and perform required thermal analyses of propulsion focused aerospace components including steady state & transient thermal analyses as well as convection, and radiation analyses throughout engine design lifecycle.
This person will validate design model predictions using a hands-on approach and informed collaborative work across the engineering department and aid teams in meeting technical, mass, performance, and cost targets.
