Job Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Frame Technician to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will ensure the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles for structural damage and decide if parts need to be repaired or replaced
• Remove damaged body parts like bumpers, fenders, hoods, and trim
• Straighten vehicle frames using special equipment
• Attach replacement parts to vehicles using hand and power tools
• Prepare repaired areas for refinishing
• Apply a new finish or paint to restored body parts
• Review damage reports and prepare cost estimates for customers
• Operate equipment according to safety standards

Requirements

• Previous body shop tech experience or equivalent degree required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs)
• Attention to detail
• Organization and follow-up skills
• Valid NY State driver's license and good driving record
