Customer Service Representative Location: Washington DC Job Description Rue IV, DCs newest showroom, is looking to expand our customer service department. As an independent multi line showroom Rue IV is an exciting atmosphere with an opportunity to join our growing team.
Job Requirements The candidate we are seeking would:
Be excited to be an intrical part of and contribute to the Rue IV team and atmosphere
Be an industry professional with at least 3 years experience in luxury interior goods and customer service or sales.
Be familiar with or quick to learn product categories throughout the entirety of interiors: fabrics, furniture, lighting, wallcovering, floor covering, accessories, etc.
Quickly learn our CRM operating system, brands portals where relevant, and procedures throughout the sampling and order entry process
Establish positive relationships with clients, vendors and team members
Manage and provide timely follow up of emails and phone calls
Handle and respond to questions from clients and vendors
Provide information to clients on our products and brands
Have excellent communication skills: verbal and written
Be an independent and strategic thinker who is solution driven
Be a team player with a highly approachable demeanor and first-rate interpersonal skills.
Be able to retain key information: clients names, significant orders/projects, recent purchases and preferences
Create and/or provide pricing, quotes, orders, purchase orders and status updates
Spearhead and manage complex ordering process and follow up
Maintain an organized work environment
Show great attention to detail
Work to diffuse difficult or stressful situations
Be comfortable and willing to provide constructive criticism where helpful in order to improve processes and procedures
Understand and appreciate that they are an extension of and reflection of the Rue IV team, and be a proud representative of our team, conducting themselves accordingly
