    The Marketing Events Planner plans and executes major domestic and global customer-facing events including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and sales meetings.

    The Marketing Events Planner works with the Marketing Communications team, Business Unit Directors and Sales Directors to implement campaign strategies for a memorable experience with the CPC brand that accelerates sales growth.

    This position also coordinates with international sales and marketing staff for the implementation of regional and international shows and events.


    Lead planner for all external domestic and international trade shows and customer meetings across CPC's different business units, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute CPC event presence.

    Maintain list and evaluate industry trade shows to ensure proper alignment with CPC's strategies for maximum exposure to the target markets while considering budgets and personnel resources.

    Coordinate CPC's trade show logistics by completing and submitting show forms, distributing travel notifications to staff, ordering all necessary materials, and shipping to and from shows.

    Organize any supplemental trade show activities, including securing sponsorship, venue selection, registration management, attendance tracking, AV, banquet orders, agendas, onsite materials, and post event evaluations.

    Contribute to sales team and business units' success at trade shows and meetings by creating show schedules, providing all pertinent details with onsite accessibility, and anticipating and making plans for different scenarios and challenges that could occur.

    Communicate cross departmentally to plan and create effective promotional plans for each event to enhance booth traffic and brand awareness.

    Monitor all current material inventory levels to ensure that collateral and swag resources are in-stock and available; Track event spending, submit purchasing orders and invoices, and provide budget updates and reports as needed to support ROI calculations.

    Keep an updated internal detailed event calendar.
    Subject matter expert on event software.
    Represent the CPC brand and services with passion and integrity.


    Responsible for scheduling webinars with internal and external media partners, as well as coordinating content and speakers for the event.

    Develop slides, videos, and scripts for webinars, as needed.
    Assist in pre and post webinar promotion and analytics, including post-webinar lead lists for sales and CRM.

    Establish and maintain calendar for customer and marketing events and shows.

    5+ years event-related work experience.
    Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
    CMP or other event certifications, a plus.
    Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, nd Excel.
    CRM, registration software and lead retrieval software experience, a plus.
    Experience with Zoom or other webinar software.

    Travel Requirements:
    ~20% travel to conferences, tradeshows, and local meetings
