- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Proven cooking experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a catering environment
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiarity with industry best practices
