Description:
The Tax Supervisor, Data Management & Innovation, will be a pivotal figure in shaping our Tax function through the utilization of technology.
This role will be instrumental in identifying the technology requirements crucial for supporting our businesses amidst the evolving external tax regulatory landscape.
Key responsibilities include partnering closely with tax and non-tax business partners to drive Tax system integration projects, automation initiatives, and process enhancements.
The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Technology, Finance, Controllership, and Financial System partners) to advance the tax technology roadmap, meet project milestones, and ensure accurate requirements and project updates are provided.
Basic Qualifications:
Prioritize key tax process requirements gathering, documentation, and testing.
Analyze and communicate relevant updates to project team members and leadership.
Develop and deliver training/materials to internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in working with a variety of data sources.
Identify and address incomplete or inaccurate data, proposing solutions or escalating issues as necessary.
Assist in implementing, maintaining, and documenting tax applications (e.g., SAP, Vertex, ONESOURCE, etc.).
Reconciliation of system data within tax systems, monitoring efficiency, and suggesting enhancements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
Advanced degree or progressing towards licensing as a Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Knowledge of SAP, Vertex O Series, Vertex Returns, PTMS, OneSource, Alteryx, and Python is a plus.
Pay Details:
$90.00 to $93.00 per hour
