- Establish work schedules, make assignments, and provide training to custodial staff.
- Oversee facilities set-up for special events.
- Maintain safety standards, train custodians, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Correct unsafe conditions, report issues promptly, and follow safety protocols.
- Maintain custodial equipment, conduct inventory, and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain records, supervise staff, compile reports, and assist in emergencies.
- Perform minor building repairs, cover special events, and enforce regulations.

Primary Purpose:
Responsible for leading the campus custodial staff to maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in building operations and grounds. Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are well-maintained for safe and efficient working practices.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Clear and Valid Texas Driver's license
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to understand and communicate instructions effectively. Knowledgeable in custodial practices, equipment, chemicals, and materials. Proficient in minor repair techniques, building, and grounds maintenance. Skilled in personnel management, planning, and organization. Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Three years of custodial experience

Supervise, evaluate, and recommend hiring and firing of custodial staff.
