A reputable children's rehabilitative nursing facility based in Westchester County is currently seeking Pediatric Nurse Practitioners to join their team of dedicated, experienced, and passionate professionals In this warm and inviting work environment, it is ensured that every team member will feel valued and supported.

You would be tasked with conducting clinical evaluations of residents, in addition to arranging and coordinating resident's plans of care.

The base pay range for this position is $65 to $80 per hour.

The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

*Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical evaluations of patients for acute illnesses or changes in condition.
• Supervise the ordering and proper administration of medications.
• Provide emergency services for residents and staff as required.
• Address abnormal lab results and record assessments and plans.
• Coordinate and arrange resident transfers to acute care facilities as required, including giving written consultation and making phone calls to receiving emergency departments.
• Offer comprehensive end-of-shift sign-outs to nursing and medical staff.
• Work closely with nurse supervisors to actively educate, support, and guide our dedicated staff.

*Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing or higher
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of NY
• Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC)
• At least 1-2 years prior experience working with pediatrics
