    TheMid-Market Director Sales Specialist,is an individual contributor role responsible for all aspects of the sales efforts within assigned territory with the objective of signing mid-market merchants. This role would report to the National Senior Sales Manager, Mid-Market Sales to develop new business relationships by meeting the product and service needs of mid-market merchants. Highly motivated, team-oriented, and forward-thinking, the ideal candidate must be a strategic and critical thinker with the ability to lead by example and work effectively with other internal constituents to accomplish sales goals within their territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success signing mid-market and enterprise level merchant relationships and exceeding sales goals.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Lead the mid-market sales cycle from initial meeting to contract signing, including proposal creation and presentation for potential mid-market merchants
    • Possess a strong understanding of Snap Finance products and services, and the ability to articulate these in a compelling manner
    • Develop relationships with mid-market merchant prospects, understand their business objectives, and effectively communicate Snap's unique value proposition
    • Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage prospective clients, analyze data and trends, and provide updates to senior leadership on the status and strategic direction of market trends and key merchant prospects
    • Facilitate and lead bi-weekly mid-market meetings with Regional and Area Sales Managers. Document activities, notes, and sales status in CRM
    • Use third-party data tools to identify and build a prospect list of mid-market merchants
    • Attend and present pipeline activities during regularly scheduled 1:1s with sales leader
    • Utilize reports and data to uncover additional revenue potential within the existing mid-market merchant portfolio
    • Work closely with Field Sales team to grow the business in the mid-market portfolio
    • Address, capture, and share competitive threats and new product launches with your sales leader
    • Support and assist Field Sales team to onboard and grow new merchant programs
    • Work with your sales leader to develop, execute, and optimize a go-to-market mid-market strategy
    • Participate in strategic and sensitive pricing discussions with the Revenue Operations and Senior Leadership team for potential and current partners
    • Occasionally attend networking and tradeshow events
    • Treat people with respect; keep commitments; inspire trust in others; work ethically and with integrity; uphold organization values; accept responsibility for own actions
    • This position is remote but will require travel up to 75% of the time for prospect meetings, field sales engagements, events, training, etc.

    Desired Experience And Skills

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5+ years' experience in a high-performance sales organization with superior results
    • A strong understanding of the current sales environment across numerous sales verticals. Mid-Market/Enterprise Business Development experience is preferred
    • Experience working with is a strong plus
    • Agent of change with ability to influence and facilitate change cross functionally
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Experience working in a commission-driven compensation model
    • Ability to work effectively in a remote work environment as an individual contributor
    • Knowledge or experience in retail, financial services and/or Lease-To-Own financing, installment loans, private label and/or co-brand credit cards, a plus
