Note: Base wage is $14.46. A shift differential will be added for working on 2nd ($.50) or 3rd shift ($1.00).

Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for performing highly repetitive simple manual labor tasks on a rotating basis. Performs tasks in compliance with work instructions to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.

Essential Functions:

• Catch extruded sheets, maintain count, and perform basic inspection.
• Manually feed and operate die cutters.
• Manually feed silk screen printer, and/or catch printed blanks and perform basic inspection.
• Feed and operate all grinders.
• Participates in continuous improvement programs.
• Works independently and efficiently manages time.
• Employ effective, respectful and persuasive spoken and written communication skills.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
• Ensure adherence to all current company policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Functions effectively in a fast paced, diverse, team environment.
• Assist with department cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience needed.
• Ability to read, recognizes, or understands new assignments with only general instructions.
• Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.

Environment and Physical Demands:

• 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday; work during non-traditional hours (weekends and evenings) may be required.
• Works in a typical factory environment (high noise levels, machinery, conveyors, dust, chemicals, odors and temperature fluctuations.)
• Basic vision is required.
• Continual repetitive motion of the upper extremities, including continual flexion and extension of the wrists.
• Continuously stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
