    Job Title: K-12 Teaching/Intervention Specialist - Austintown Elementary School

    Salary:
    As per AEA Negotiated Salary Schedule

    Reports to:
    Director of Special Education, Building Principal, Director of Curriculum, and Superintendent

    Qualifications:

    - Must hold a valid Ohio Teaching License - Previous experience in the teaching area is desirable - Evaluation based on OTES 2.0 Framework

    Responsibilities and Expectations:

    • Adhere to Austintown Local School District policies
    • Follow Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession
    • Complete tasks assigned by superiors
    Successful candidates should have the following before starting:
    • Valid Ohio teaching credential
    • Clean State and Federal background checks
    • Official Sealed Transcripts
    • Negative drug screen
    Employees are required to comply with board policies, state, and federal laws, and follow the Ohio Code of Ethics.

    Subject to all laws, the primary job functions require the employee to be punctual and fulfill all job duties with or without accommodations. The selected applicant must also finish any Vector/SafeSchools courses as directed by the Administration.
