    As the Show Director, you will serve as an integral part of the artistic development process for Disney Live Entertainment -Disney Signature Experiences, supporting Disney Cruise Line.

    You will be responsible for providing creative leadership for the development of assigned projects, shows, special events, and experiences from inception through production, from show concept development through scripting, rehearsals and opening.

    This is a casual temporary/seasonal role reporting to the Director, Entertainment Creative - DLE/DSE


    You Will:
    Build work wherein diverse approaches, unique perspectives and underrepresented voices are authentically represented throughout the creative process.
    Collaborate extensively with multiple partners before and during production, including Production teams, Designers, Artists, Music Directors, Writers, Choreographers, Dance Supervisors, Artistic Ops teams, Talent Casting Directors, Clients
    Provide creative leadership for the development of concepts and execution of projects, shows, and/or special events
    Oversee the creative and story development of show concepts, scripts, and announcements from inception through production including rehearsals and performance
    Establish and maintaining show quality standards in partnership with operational areas
    Deliver a compelling creative pitch to partners and executive leaders with supporting presentation materials, decks, etc.


    You Will Have:
    5 or more years creating and directing live entertainment and immersive storytelling experiences
    Proven knowledge of creative writing, stage performance, musical theatre, immersive theatre and technical theatre/stagecraft
    An understanding of new media storytelling capabilities, particularly with an ability to reach multicultural audiences
    Adaptability to a wide variety of work environments including cruise ships
    Availability and willingness to work weekends, holidays and third shift, as needed


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Knowledge of the Disney Brands and related Intellectual Property (Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, etc.)


    Required Education:
    High School Diploma or equivalent experience
