    Description

    We are looking for a Host to join our team!

    As a Host, you play a key role as the first point of contact for our valuable guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the smooth flow of the restaurant. Your presence is fundamental in establishing the right vibe for a delightful dining journey.

    • Complete Colonial House menu training.
    • Welcome guests to the restaurant warmly.
    • Provide accurate wait times and manage waiting lists efficiently.
    • Handle reservations when necessary.
    • Accompany customers to designated dining or bar areas.
    • Offer menus and children's menus promptly.
    • Collaborate with bussers and servers through headset communication for seating arrangements.
    • Keep the reception area tidy and organized.
    • Assist guests needing special attention like children or the elderly.
    • Attend to incoming calls and resolve customer inquiries.
    • Assist in clearing tables when needed.
    • Express gratitude to customers as they leave.
    • Work closely with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff.
    • Handle complaints or issues with a positive approach.
    • Immediately escalate guest concerns to management.
    • Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the dining room and kitchen.
    • Handle to-go orders and oversee the to-go station as assigned.
    • Complete designated side tasks.
    • Be a supportive team player and pitch in with additional tasks as required.

    • Amiable and sociable demeanor.
    • Adept at managing customer queries and complaints gracefully.
    • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Physical endurance to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
    • Prior experience in a similar capacity is advantageous but not mandatory.
