    This position is for an experienced Competitive Intelligence / Positioning-to-Win (CI/PTW) analyst who can work with various types of technology, product offerings, contract types and customers to determine price and non-price targets the company should bid in order to win a competitive opportunity
    Candidates must have proposal, capture team, and competitive intelligence collection and assessment experience
    Understanding the entire federal government capture cycle is essential
    Must be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects and reprioritize as new opportunities come up
    The CI/PTW analyst must be able to present concise analysis and recommendations to capture team members and senior leadership in an articulate and effective manner
    For this reason excellent communication skills are high emotional intelligence are essential
    The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to develop detailed knowledge of customer buying patterns, competitor bid tendencies, and assess competitor technical/business strategies and capabilities and the resulting impact on pricing
    Tasks require knowledge and understanding of current technology, engineering disciplines, and analysis of competitor bidding and pricing strategies
    Other skills are planning and implementing competitive intelligence and cost modeling

    In addition to the primary duties, the CI/PTW analyst will support Black Hat reviews, Customer Value Proposition Workshops and will provide proposal team support when needed.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • Strong Communication, Analytical, and Leadership skills
    • Prior experience performing or utilizing Position-To-Win, Price-to-Win or Cost Estimating
    • Prior experience performing or utilizing Competitive Intelligence and Analysis
    • Broad knowledge of financial strategies
    • Strategic thinking
    • Research and Analytical skills, demonstrated ability to think critically
    • Computer proficiency including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
    • Track record of Successful Performance
    • Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

    Desired Skills:

    • MFC Business Acumen
    • Defense Industry Knowledge / Expertise
    • Advanced degree preferred
    • Military experience

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Remote Telework:
    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
