    Role: Sr/Intermediate Jitterbit Developer
    Location: Jacksonville, FL
    Job Description:
    This role involves analyzing, designing, developing, and testing code as part of the software engineering development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge and experience to solve intricate problems using subject matter expertise and collaborative skills. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while also mentoring less experienced staff members. It is essential to be present onsite in Jacksonville, FL.
    JOB DUTIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Exhibit ethical behavior and fulfill job responsibilities in alignment with the organization's core values, ethics, and information protection policies.
    • Design, develop, and test complex software component changes in various engineering stacks (UI, Servicing, Integrations, Automation, Testing, etc.), ensuring they meet acceptance criteria and adhere to development and quality standards.
    • Research, analyze, design, and solve complex problems with creativity and innovation.
    • Present SDLC and DevSecOps deliverables to uphold software standards and guidelines.
    • Collaborate with business representatives to estimate and plan prioritized backlog items as a subject matter expert.
    • Contribute to enhancing software engineering practices, standards, documentation, and knowledge within an agile team.
    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor's Degree OR 3 years of relevant experience OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 3 years, with a focus on Software Development, Programming, Testing, or Automation.
    • 5+ years of software engineering experience OR 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree.
    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
    • Hands-on experience in creating SOAP and REST web services and other APIs is highly preferred.
    • Building APIs within the Jitterbit platform.
    • Experience with connecting various systems together.
    • Preferably, experience in migrating from Oracle Fusion to Jitterbit.
    KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES:
    • Solid knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Thorough understanding of Agile mindset, principles, and practices.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming languages.
    • Ability to review programming code, identify, and correct issues or discrepancies.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting code to pinpoint and rectify defects and root causes.
    • Sound understanding of Enterprise Software Development and maintenance.
    • Skilled in data manipulation, comparison, and computation.
    • Good understanding of testing practices (test strategy, plans, test cases).
    • Proficient in Source Code Management.
    • Knowledgeable in DevOps concepts.
    • Advanced proficiency in software design, modification, implementation, and deployment, encompassing object-oriented programming concepts.
    • Domain knowledge and capability to manage and interpret data parameters and relational data constructs.
    • Capable of independent troubleshooting for complex and time-sensitive issues and escalating when necessary.
    • Ability to follow and create software specifications.
    • Strong proficiency in source-level management and version control.
    • Proficient in IT Security and maintaining the confidentiality of data.
    • System thinking and design skills.
    • Ability to effectively present technical topics to technical or non-technical groups.
    • Capability to propose and test innovative ideas with Proof of Values, pilots, etc.
    • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
    • Testing skills across various layers (unit, components, data, APIs, UI/UX, Performance, Security).
    • Knowledge of modern engineering practices like Test Driven Development, Behavior-driven development, Acceptance test-driven development.
