    Procom is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our client's dynamic team at a leading utilities provider.

    This role is crucial for enhancing the information security framework, supporting business applications and systems critical to long-term operational strategies.


    Job Summary:
    The Cyber Security Analyst will implement and oversee security measures to protect information systems. The role includes a variety of responsibilities from risk management and asset security to compliance and incident response.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Serve as an internal consultant on information security, providing guidance and strategic insights.
    Develop and enforce security policies and procedures across the organization.
    Conduct information security awareness programs to educate employees.
    Perform risk assessments and act as a subject matter expert on security issues.
    Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, coordinating with various departments to address lapses.
    Manage the security incident response process.
    Influence the selection of secure software and hardware solutions.
    Enhance security features in both existing systems and new developments.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or related field; OR substantial information security experience.
    Profound knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
    Experience with vulnerability management and incident response.
    Skilled in using SIEM tools for security monitoring and event correlation.
    Ability to perform vulnerability scans and identify system weaknesses.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Prior IT or security experience (e.g., System Administration, Help Desk).
    Exceptional communication skills and a meticulous approach to problem-solving.


    Required Certifications:
    At least one of the following is required (others may be considered based on experience):
    CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CHFI, CySA+, GCFA, GCIH.
