    Description
    Job Summary:
    Collaborates with Education Consultants and managers to develop, design, deliver, and evaluate education strategies and special projects based on clients' departmental and organizational goals. Implements education programs and strategies to meet regulatory requirements and organizational needs.
    Essential Responsibilities:
    • Develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs to meet regulatory and organizational needs.
    • Designs and coordinates activities for continuing professional education.
    • Collaborates on special projects in professional education and development.
    • Markets education programs to a diverse audience based on needs.
    • Participates in classroom instruction for projects.
    • Provides expertise in defining and meeting educational and performance outcomes.
    • Implements and evaluates orientation and education processes for clinical staff.
    • Responds to industry changes and provides necessary training to improve organizational performance.
    • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
    Basic Qualifications: Experience
    • Minimum two (2) years of teaching or in-service education experience required.
    Education
    • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of related experience.
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    License, Certification, Registration
    • Registered Nurse License (California).
    • International Board Lactation Consultant Examiners Certificate within 12 months of hire.
    Additional Requirements:
    • Experience in breast-feeding education.
    • Knowledge of Standards of Care for breast-feeding.
    • Adult learning knowledge.
    • Strong communication and group facilitator skills.
    • Computer literacy.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree preferred.
    • CPR instructor preferred.
    • Certified Lactation Educator (CLE).
    • Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
    • BLS and PALS certified.
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • BSN preferred.
    Primary Location: California, Los Angeles, West Los Angeles Medical Center
    Hours Per Week: 24
    Shift: Evening
    Workdays: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
    Working Hours: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
    Job Schedule: Part-time
