Find your purpose as a Cardiovascular Technologist in the Catheterization Lab

Job Summary:
Assists in a variety of technical procedures in the Heart Catheterization Laboratory and/or Surgery utilizing specialized angiographic equipment and/or complex computerized monitoring equipment to provide diagnostic and/or therapeutic results for the purpose of patient care. Patients of all ages served. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Position details:

• Part-time, working 54 hours every two weeks
• Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• on-call as needed
• Temporary through August 16, 2024

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card per established policy.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential through the CCI if hired after 2006 among employment required within 1 year.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab of comparable size and workload preferred.
• Registry preferred.
