Insight Global is looking for a Manager of Fixed Asset to join a entertainment client in Coppell, TX 4 days a week onsite.

The Manager of Fixed Asset is responsible for managing all aspects of fixed asset accounting for the company.

This individual will review fixed asset additions and retirements, depreciation expense, gain/loss on disposals and all related reconciliations, maintain the company's fixed asset policy and ensure it is in compliance with GAAP, prepare and record internal capitalized compensation costs, prepare account reconciliations, review/prepare quarterly and annual schedules and analysis for auditors/tax consultants, and ensure company is in compliance with internal SOX controls.

Additionally, the fixed asset manager will assists in the development of company accounting policies and process improvement initiatives at store and corporate levels.

This resource will be responsible for the management, training, and mentorship of 1 direct report with potential for growth and expansion in this area.

6-10 year's accounting experience, including some retail or restaurant industry experience and 3-5 years supervisory experience

• General working experience and understanding of Workday modules as it relates to business and finance
• Multi-unit management experience
• Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where limited standardization exits
• Previous experience to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.
