    Talent Xpanse is the search partner with a leading nonprofit organization seeking a Manager of Total Rewards.

    This pivotal role involves designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive rewards programs, including benefits and compensation, that align with strategic objectives and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs in alignment with organizational goals.

    Analyze market trends to ensure our offerings are equitable and competitive.

    Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance total rewards strategies.

    Manage compensation planning, including salary budgeting and incentive programs.

    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and oversee benefits administration.


    Professional Expertise:
    A passion for organizations providing community services.


    At least 5 years of advancing experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits management, with a preference for experience in nonprofit or mission-driven settings.

    Comprehensive understanding of compensation and benefits strategies, including a grasp of relevant regulations like FLSA, ERISA, ACA, and ADA.

    Proven ability to develop competitive compensation frameworks, incentive schemes, and benefits offerings.

    Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data, perform market studies, and provide evidence-based recommendations.

    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across all organizational levels.

    Demonstrated project management skills, with an aptitude for balancing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

    High ethical standards and discretion in handling confidential information.

    Skilled in using HRIS, compensation management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Competence in addressing complex issues with a focus on employee needs and strong organizational skills.

    Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of maintaining successful working relationships with various stakeholders.

    Experience with labor unions is beneficial but not mandatory.

    Bilingual abilities, particularly fluency in English and Spanish, are beneficial; however, not required.

    Desirable:

    A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a higher degree or equivalent work experience.


    Related certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) are advantageous.
