    The mission of the Enterprise Design Systems team is to set the bar for design system disciplines and define the processes, work output, platforms and tools that will bring efficiency and quality to product delivery. This team incubates new design patterns that represent the evolution of the brand in the digital product environment, and innovative experiential concepts that push the expectations of users in the health-focused digital ecosystem. The design system is intended to deliver cohesive and consistent design standards to all product lines associated with health plan and health services, and to expand to represent the voices of the direct customer, the client, and the provider.

    Job Description

    We're seeking a UX Designer to help drive the evolution of visual language standards and guidelines across a multi-brand enterprise design system. Leveraging your knowledge of user-centric best practices and UI skillset, you will help the team to build a scalable system with dynamic theming to meet the needs across product lines, services, and brands. You will help to maintain and evolve current libraries and enable new branding and themes. You will collaborate closely with multiple design and engineering teams to implement solutions that create consistent, elevated experiences and accelerate delivery.

    About You:

    • 3-5 years experience designing and shipping impactful experiences inclusive of design, strategy, and systems
    • Eye for visual design and attention to detail
    • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
    • Highly proficient in current UI design tools (Figma preferred)
    • Demonstrable experience leveraging and evolving design systems and component libraries
    • 3-5 years experience with accessibility, responsive design, atomic design
    • Desire to learn and grow, as well as, mentor others within a collaborative team environment
    • Experience working across desktop and mobile platforms
    • Ability to communicate at various levels within a large organization
    • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions
    • Familiarity with dynamic theming and design tokens a plus

    ​Role Responsibilities:

    • Help to drive the evolution and visual language standards across a multi-brand enterprise design system
    • Design and define patterns through components, documentation, and prototypes
    • Identify brand elements to promote as reusable enterprise patterns and components
    • Ensure patterns meet standards and guidelines for accessibility
    • Collaborate with designers across teams to evolve and support the team contribution model
    • Help in creating documentation and training materials for design system adoption
    • Collaborate to test components and patterns as needed to ensure usability and consistency

    If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
