    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site CDL-A Lowboy Driver position located in Newnan, GA. The CDL-A Lowboy Driver will be responsible for safely operating lowboy trailers to transport heavy equipment and machinery to and from various project sites. Daily tasks include conducting thorough vehicle inspections, ensuring proper loading and securing of equipment, adhering to transportation regulations, and maintaining accurate transport records. The role also requires timely communication with dispatch and project managers to ensure schedules are met efficiently.

    Qualifications

    • Valid CDL-A license with experience operating lowboy trailers
    • Proficiency in loading, unloading, and securing heavy equipment and machinery
    • Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspection procedures
    • Strong attention to safety protocols and reliable driving record
    • Good communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work on-site and accommodate a flexible schedule, including occasional extended hours
    • Familiarity with the Newnan, GA region and local routes is a plus
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in heavy equipment operations or safety training are a plus
