    Description

    We are an ITAR facility and hire only U.S. persons who are defined as U.S. citizens or green card holders.


    Responsible for processes and programs to assure products meet manufacturing, compliance and quality standards as per KSM Electronics' procedures and related technical documents.

    Provide quality planning, control, and improvement support for production, engineering, supply management, and/or distribution teams to assure the company's quality meets the customers' expectations.

    Oversees the implementation and effectiveness of QA systems; calibration, test and inspection of equipment, and leads proactive quality initiatives. Participates in internal audits, supplier approval/review, customer requirements review, inspection planning, and support of customer and third party audits. Responsible for the assessment of component and system level specifications relative to customer needs and product performance specifications. Collaborates with management to ensure effective risk management for products and processes.

    Addresses team members' questions, issues, and concerns promptly; and follows through to resolution

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required (Mechanical/Electrical or Quality Engineering)
    1 year of leadership support experience required.
    5-7 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably electronics)
    3-5 years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of AS9100
    3-5 years of experience in contractual and specification requirement interpretation
    Minimum of three years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing processes (SOPs)
    Knowledge of NADCAP a plus
    Knowledge of ITAR a plus
    Six Sigma green belt a plus
    Knowledge of IPC Certification standards a plus
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English required/ Spanish plus.
