    Grade: 16

    Salary: $56,112 - $63,650

    The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Data Visualization Project Assistant position at the Office of Population Health and Evaluation's Division of Data Science. The Office of Population Health and Evaluation's Division of Data Science seeks a data visualization assistant to create data visualization solutions to improve business processes. This role will include tasks such as generating Tableau dashboard reports, creating business intelligence reports and visualizations, creating data storage tools, and conducting tests. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and results-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Office of Population Health and Evaluation's Division of Data Science seeks a data visualization assistant to create data visualization solutions to improve business processes. This role will include tasks such as generating Tableau dashboard reports, creating business intelligence reports and visualizations, creating data storage tools, and conducting tests. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and results-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    • Prepare data for use by Tableau
    • Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design
    • Develop, test, maintain, and manage advanced Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use
    • Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations
    • Review and improve existing systems, collaborate with teams to integrate new systems, and automate processes
    • Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues
    • Coordinate with Tableau admin for production deployment
    • Monitor usage report of their workbooks and data sources

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1 year experience working with SQL query, rational databases, and normalization
    • 1 year experience with data management, BI administration, data conversion, data-marts, data consumption
    • 1 year experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics
