    TS/SCI requiredSummary: As a Controls Technician III, you'll provide crucial support to production operations by maintaining, testing, and repairing a wide range of electrical/electronic, PLC, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.

    You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of all production and physical plant equipment at our client's facility.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop proficiency in operating automation system software/technology, including alignment systems, AGVs, and heating solutions. Provide technical support on PLCs, HMIs, and network interfaces throughout the manufacturing floor. Troubleshoot and repair various equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, numerical controls, and power supplies. Service electronic equipment by testing and replacing faulty components and circuit modules. Install and maintain communication cables and wiring as required. Use expertise in electrical/electronic and mechanical principles to perform tasks efficiently and according to safety standards. Plan and execute equipment maintenance and repair procedures. Document encountered problems, troubleshooting steps, corrective actions, root causes, and future steps. Update and create documentation for training purposes on supported control systems. Adhere to safety procedures and practices, including the use of PPE.


    Qualifications:
    Technician Certification or Associates degree in a related field required. Five or more years of experience in PLC and HMI configuration and programming. Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment. Proficient computer skills and experience with PLC programming. Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. US Citizenship required for government security clearance.
