    Proskauer is seeking an emerging visual storyteller with experience in video and digital media production to join our in-house Digital Media team to help plan, develop, promote and report on Firm wide digital media marketing efforts across all video, podcast, web, social and email communications channels. The Digital Media Intern will have exposure to a wide range of promotional projects and initiatives associated with the many industries and services in which the Firm engages, and the cultural, social and community activities of the Firm. This position is ideal for a passionate videographer who exhibits creative and technical ability, and one who offers fresh and innovative approaches to elevating the Firm's digital media storytelling in an active and highly-collaborative environment.

  • Assist the Digital Media and Strategic Communications teams in formulating and executing projects for multimedia communications and digital marketing projects in support of the Firm's business and cultural initiatives.
  • Provide support with the planning and production of Firm videos and podcasts; develop project briefs, timetables, and schedules; prep on-camera/on-air talent for interviews; and collaborate with other Strategic Communications team members on the distribution and promotion of content across all Firm marketing channels.
  • Assist with editing video and audio and create animations for Firm marketing projects using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator, and work closely with Firm in-house design team professionals on the development of branding for digital marketing projects.
  • Ensure all digital media content maintains the consistency and integrity of the Firm's brand.
  • Help with setup, recording and strike for on-site and location productions; organize and help manage production shoots, including handling talent; assist with studio operations and workflows; and maintain inventory of audio/video equipment.
  • Attend Firm-sponsored events to assist with capturing video, conducting interviews, recording b-roll, and taking photographs for promotional and social media use.
  • Stay current with industry trends in digital media communications and offer insights, help formulate concepts, and pitch ideas for new opportunities to evolve and improve Firm digital marketing and branding efforts.
  • Current college Junior or Senior working towards a degree in a video-, marketing- or communications-related discipline.
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Understanding of all major social media platforms
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and deliver detailed and accurate work product
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to confidently work with all levels of lawyers and management
  • This internship will run from June 3, 2024 through July 26, 2024.

    This position will require physical presence in Proskauer's offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $17 per hour. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
