DirectViz Solutions, (DVS) provides strategic IT consulting services to meet mission requirements for our government clients. DVS is seeking a Network Administrator/LAN-Intermediate to work in Sierra Vista, Arizona at Fort Huachuca. This position will support the RCC-CONUS, which provides a cutting-edge technology environment. An active Secret clearance, or higher, is required.

Intermediate Network Administrator/LAN

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Working within a team environment, troubleshooting and support of networking related issues
Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external users
Implementing the necessary tools to proactively troubleshoot and when necessary, assist and provide support to third parties to solve network connectivity problems
Working in a team environment to manage the installations of products and resources to meet the needs and requirements of our WAN and LAN network-based services
Optimizing the availability of network systems architectures to deliver cost-effective improvements that in turn deliver tangible business benefits
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
Deals with pressure and conflict decisively and effectively
Must participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation in support of the RCC-C mission
Travel potential is required in support of COOP scenarios

Minimum Requirements:

HS + 4 years similar experience, AA/AS +2 or BS/BA + 0
IAT II (One of the following: GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) at hire
Net + (or higher) within 180 days (CCNA preferred)
This position requires a Secret security clearance
