    Job Description:


    An assistant director of nursing (ADON) is responsible for the nursing team and quality of patient service in the absence of the director of nursing.

    The ADON supervises, analyzes, delegates, and evaluates nursing activities and ensures patient comfort and care.

    A staff development coordinator must have solid leadership skills and have a solid understanding of the companys needs, helping him to choose relevant and effective training programs.

    They must be an excellent communicator, with the ability to easily learn new skills and teach them to others.


    Responsibilities:
    Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses.

    Managing clinical operations and developing care plans.

    Assisting in budget preparation and expense management.

    Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.

    Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.

    Training and educating Staff


    Requirements/Qualifications:
    Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment

    Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a supervisory role in a nursing care facility

    Infection Preventionist certificate preferred

    Assist in organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility

    Entry Level (0-2 years)
