Primary Care Physicians are needed to care for our Veterans - Great BenefitsThe Atlanta, GA VA Medical Center is searching for a BE/BC Family Practice/Internal Medicine Physician to join their dynamic healthcare team.
The openings are located at their Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in Rome, GA.They also have openings in Zebulon (Pike County), Flowery Branch, GA, Oakwood, GA, Fort MacPherson, GA, Carrollton, GA, Blairsville, GA and at the VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA.
The Primary Care physician works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating with other members of the team to provide medical care to veterans enrolled on the team.
He/ she will provide comprehensive patient assessment, health history, physical examination, and patient education to veterans in the Primary Care team setting.
As a physician, you will provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill and injured veterans.Duties include documenting observations, assessments, and changes in a patient's condition; Our facility is seeking individuals who possess good organizational skills which enable completion of work, a demonstrated ability to assume leadership in a patient-centered program, and the ability to establish effective communication with patients, families, visitors and members of the interdisciplinary team.

The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
