    Description

    Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager - Industrial Production Line

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the construction of a large battery manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to take the initiative and drive activities with limited supervision.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
    • Financial management including prompt client invoicing and utilizing the financial system to monitor the project's financial status.
    • Project planning including producing the detailed project plan.
    • Working with and overseeing A/E firms on design evolution and drawing reviews.
    • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications.
    • Collaborating with general contractors on procurement bid package reviews, recommendations, order submissions, tracking, and invoice approval.
    • Preparing formal project budget progress and other reports.
    • Monitoring project schedule and working with the general contractor to meet milestones and Job 1 timing.
    • Ensuring compliance with quality standards.
    • Reviewing safety incidents and corrective action follow-up.
    • Managing field authorization requests (FAR) process.
    • Identifying opportunities to improve project management procedures, templates, and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
    • Assisting the client with alternative funding source acquisition.
    • Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
    • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project.

    Requirements:

    • Construction project management experience and the ability to be highly effective in a client-facing role.
    • College degree in Construction Management or a related field, and PMP certification.
    • Membership in relevant professional organizations.
    • Experience managing demanding stakeholders and work stream managers.
    • Field experience a plus.
