- Associates of Applied Science in Nursing (ADN) or above required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of endoscopy nursing experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting, preferred

Description
Job DescriptionAssesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in procedure room. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center.
Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members.
May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.

Grandview Endoscopy Center is an outpatient endoscopy facility which is located in the Grandview Physicians Plaza at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.
The Center will provide therapeutic and diagnostic services of various diseases involving the gastrointestinal tract, especially colon cancer screenings, in a personalized and caring environment.
Grandview Endoscopy Center anticipates Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) accreditation CMS Certification, following surveys in late Summer / early Fall of 2019.
