Roles & Responsibilities:
As an acquisition management professional, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients' missions
You'll analyze the full scope of contract analysis including services, suppliers, research and development and major systems using formal DoD procedures
As a federal acquisition management professional at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with our federal client in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission
This is an opportunity to impact our country's defense acquisition and contract process for IT systems related to logistics
On our team, you'll support the client by managing , DODI and 87-related acquisitions across the life cycle
You'll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents
Additional duties include the development of the performance work statements (PWS), statement of work (SOW), and additional acquisition documents, etc
You'll provide DoD IT acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project's success
From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you'll deliver meaningful thought leadership and acquisition support
Position Qualifications Required:
7+ years of experience working in Federal Acquisition
Experience with the BCAC, BCAT, or DoDI , DoDI , DoDI , or any of their predecessors
Knowledge of the Defense "Software Acquisition Pathway," acquisition policy and regulations, and appropriate IT acquisition pathways and approval authorities
Experience working with senior government staff at the Program Executive Officer (PEO) or Project Manager (PM) level
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with the Navy or USMC
Experience with Acquisition Documentation Management activities, including Capability Support Plan, Cyber Strategy, CARD, Costing, and Acquisition Strategy
Knowledge of DITPR-DON, SNAP IT, RDAIS
PMP or DAU certification
