    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Developing test plans, procedures, and scripts for shock, vibration, thermal, humidity, and vacuum testing on high and low-voltage flight hardware
    • Conducting verification testing that includes power-on, functional, acceptance, and qualification and documenting test results for the high and low voltage distribution, power regulation, and conversion hardware
    • Supporting the integration of vehicle hardware and analysis tooling necessary to verify the requirements and performance of units under test
    • Debugging and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a lab environment
    • Supporting integration and test activities, including wiring, hardware installation, and test bench setup
    • Participating in design and system reviews to provide feedback on integration and testability throughout all project phases
    • Participating in program-level technology development, mission assurance and safety initiatives, and development process improvements

    Qualifications:

    • B.S. in electrical engineering or related technical discipline
    • 5+ years of relevant experience
    • A breadth of understanding in electronics hardware development, such as testing high voltage switching, high voltage and power regulation, or other advanced electronic commercial or aerospace products
    • Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design, including analysis, simulation, test, troubleshooting, and part selection
    • Knowledge of signal integrity, power, grounding, and general board layout principles
    • Experience developing special electronic test equipment and troubleshooting equipment
    • Proficient in the use of standard electronic lab tests and troubleshooting equipment
    • Experience with programming in C++ and/or Python
    • NI Labview / TestStand experience
    • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • M.S. degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline
    • 7+ years of relevant experience
    • Experience with the development and execution of a large-scale verification of avionics on autonomous spaceflight systems
    • Experience supporting testbeds for spaceflight systems
    • Electrical Design and Analysis tools: LTSpice, PSpice, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Simscape
