    Job Overview:

    A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an experienced Senior IP Litigation Lawyer with a strong background in trial-focused civil litigation involving patents.

    The ideal candidate should possess excellent legal skills , leadership capabilities , and a proven track record in business development and firm management .


    Duties:
    # Manage and lead case teams in trial-focused civil litigation related to patents.
    # Provide substantive legal expertise with limited partner supervision.
    # Conduct legal research, analysis, and preparation of legal documents.
    # Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies.
    # Oversee the overall progress and success of assigned cases.


    Requirements:
    # Minimum of 7 years of trial-focused civil litigation experience specifically related to patents.
    # Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
    # Demonstrated ability to lead and manage case teams with limited partner supervision.
    # Strong business development, legal, leadership, and firm management skills.
    # Undergraduate degrees in engineering, chemistry, biology, and/or computer science are highly valuable.


    Education:
    Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.


    Certifications:
    Active license to practice law in the state of California.


    Skills:
    # Proficient in trial-focused civil litigation with a focus on patents.
    # Strong legal research and analytical skills.
    # Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    # Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    # Business development acumen.
    # Familiarity with engineering, chemistry, biology, and/or computer science concepts.
