ChristianaCare is hiring a Senior Medical Assistant for the Breast Surgery Center in Newark, DE. The practice has 4 physician's, in addition to 2 APC's.

Our medical assistants are responsible for all rooming, chaperoning, supporting office procedures, patient check-out, chart prep, phone triage, Cerner desktop management, FMLA/disability paperwork and prior authorizations, both surgical and diagnostic.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 8:1- 4:45 Fridays: 7:30a - 4p No holidays required

High School Graduate or Equivalent A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or Hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant is required; 3 years' experience is preferred Please attach updated resume with application.
