    POSITION:
    Career Business Development Specialist


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Career Business Development Specialist will report directly to the Program Manager and will serve as direct liaison between the Youth Opportunities Program, businesses, and community organization.

    The Career Business Development Specialist is responsible for generating and prospecting consumers and will place candidates in their specified occupations based on skills and experience.

    Will maintain confidentiality of all work experience placement data, review timecards and other information required to meet reporting standards. Will participate and attend recruitment and outreach events, business meetings, employment related functions and general meetings.

    The Career Business Development Specialist will review and analyze the Labor Market Information, industry trends and economic conditions to modify strategies for business services and placement.

    The Career Business Development Specialist is responsible to ensure customer satisfaction in all business transactions.


    QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:
    Experience working with business sectors and customers. Professional customer service attitude and strong analytical skills. Computers background a must. Bilingual a plus.


    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    Must have a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Drivers license. Must submit to and pass criminal background check and a drug test as a pre-condition for employment. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's degree and two (2) years professional experience OR a combination of education plus four (4) years professional experience in human resource, placement, sales marketing, employment training or related areas.
