Description

The responsibilities of the House Supervisor are to direct and supervise clinical service functions as well as overall hospital functions during non-business hours.

• Previous clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred, with successful completion of orientation and training to the point of competence.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Must have current licensure to practice registered nursing in the State of California.
• Current AHA BLS required upon hire. ACLS, NRP and PALS certification as required by Departments with documented competencies. These certifications must be completed before the 90 day provisional period and must always be completed prior to being assigned to full patient ( level 3 care- see cross training policy) care in that area.
• Department specific certifications preferred but not required.
