ECS is looking for a Senior Data Scientist/Exploitation Specialist to join their team in the Washington DC Area. This role is subject to contract award.
Job Description:
ECS is in search of a Senior Data Scientist/Exploitation Specialist for their Washington Metro Area office. Please be aware that this position is dependent on contract award.
Position Description/Responsibilities:
- Support NSG strategy by developing automated collection models and dynamic analytic models.
- Enhance operational performance of automated solutions through performance evaluation and regular customer interaction.
- Utilize data science and visual programming to streamline analysis tasks.
- Enhance technical solutions for intelligence integration, automated collections, information sharing, and visualization.
- Conduct collections, analytic modeling, data processing, mining, and visualization.
- Perform gap analysis on existing technologies and processes.
- Communicate progress and findings clearly with customers and stakeholders.
- Design and maintain processes like Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) for predictive automated imagery collection.
- Collaborate with customers to identify processing problems and gaps in tools and technology.
- Train and integrate new tools and capabilities for imagery collection.
- Support emerging requirements as needed.
- Some travel within Washington DC area and occasional travel outside primary work location.
- Limited overseas travel may be required.
Required Skills:
- Active/current TS/SCI minimum clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a counterintelligence polygraph.
- Bachelors or Masters degree or 6+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in Geospatial software applications, visual programming, Python, SQL, Git, stats, TensorFlow, R, SAS, NLP, among others.
