    As a Computer Scientist at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for:

    • Develop software drivers
    • Develop software applications
    • Process digital signals
    • Develop Client/server applications
    • Analyze and implement Legacy and current processor technology
    • Analyze and implement Operating systems, architectures, and interfaces
    • Develop code using Assembly and high-level programming languages
    • Reverse engineer software/code
    • Develop embedded software
    • Communicate status of work
    • Peer review software
    • Moderate software peer reviews

    Experience and Qualifications:

    To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

    Required Education and Years of Experience:

    • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
      chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+3 years' related work experience, 9+ years' experience with no degree). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Required Qualifications: ​

    • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
    • Low level development experience
    • Experience with embedded Linux both user-space and kernel-mode software in C and Python.
    • Understanding of GNU Make
    • USB protocol and driver experience
    • Programming experience for embedded Linux both user-space and kernel-mode software in C
    • Low-level development experience – e.g. interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, reading/writing Flash memory, etc.
    • Development experience with Linux on ARM-based platforms
    • Experience with OpenWRT/LEDE distribution
    • Understanding of GNU Make
    • Python experience
    • Automated testing, unit test level

    Desired Qualifications: ​

    • Experience with automake/autoconf suite
    • Experience supporting patches for software development projects
    • Experience with the creation of Linux packages e.g. OpenWRT/LEDE or RPM package for Fedora/Red Hat

    Summary Pay Range:

    Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    $140,000 - $164,000
