Overview

Program Director - Neuropsychology

Whether you're a resident, a physician early in your career, or a seasoned physician with years of experience, Akron Children's Hospital offers something unique. The role provides leadership for neuropsychology programming, staff training, and adherence to evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment modalities. The position reports to the Director of Psychology and serves as a liaison between the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and other departments/divisions where neuropsychology services are provided.

Technical Expertise

• Skilled in communicating evidence-based practice findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to develop and deliver evidence-based practice education and training materials to diverse audiences.
• Experience in developing and implementing evidence-based practice programs.
• Experience supervising clinical staff and overseeing clinical programs.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.
• Experience working with electronic medical record software, such as EPIC, is preferred.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience contributing and overseeing evidence-based neuropsychological assessment programs and clinical staff preferred.
• Education: PhD or PsyD, ABPP certification required.

This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
