Job summary
The Therapeutic Mentor provides active peer support to parents of children receiving services in three counties. They deliver support in individual or group settings and empower parents through the process with DCF, child Welfare, and other family centered community partners.
Some examples of this role include:
- Providing information on child development and parenting skills
- Assisting a parent in acquiring practical/organizational skills (i.e., budgeting)
