Position: Senior Offensive Duty Officer (SODO) OR Senior Air Defense Officer (SADO)

Location: Hurlburt Field, FL

Experience: Minimum of 5 years, detailed as follows:

· Minimum of 3 years progressive AOC experience working as a Combat Operations Duty Officer and progressing to SODO or CCO.

· Plus a minimum of 2 years in specialized offensive operations roles within an AOC setting.

Knowledge: The Subject Matter Expert (SME) should possess comprehensive understanding of various operational processes within an AOC environment. This includes familiarity with Falconer Weapon System and proficiency with common tools utilized in an AOC Ops floor.

Description:

· Engage in planning conferences representing the AOC RC. May act as the LNO at forward exercise locations supporting the AOC RC.

· Manage and monitor ATO assigned assets ensuring effective utilization. Research and implement necessary adjustments when changes are needed. Coordinate any alterations in mission tasking with relevant external agencies. Process immediate ASRs efficiently.

· In situations requiring, undertake responsibilities of the Chief of Combat Ops (CCO). Monitor MSEL injects during exercise execution, ensuring coordination with JECG when essential for meeting training objectives.

SADO requirements:

Experience: NAF-level experience is essential, with desired AFFOR, MAJCOM Staff experience.

Minimum 3 years background, including:

· 3 years in AOC SADO, SADO Mentor or Instructor (M)

· 3 Years R/SADC level team leader (E-3, NORAD, CRC, service equivalent OR A/A aircraft commander flight lead with DCA experience).

Computer Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro is mandatory.

Knowledge:

The SME should have a deep understanding of:

· Current Integrated Air and Missile Defense doctrine and TTPs

· Duties and functions of the AADC in theater warfare

· Capabilities and functions of the AAMDC

· AOC SADO team responsibilities along with R/SADC duties

· Area Air Defense Plan, form, functions, and planning methodology focusing on Critical Asset and Defended Asset lists.

Description:

Responsibilities include:

· Executing theater air and missile defense as required in exercises. Managing theater C2 assets and operations. Coordinating effectively with a range of personnel including WOCs, Air Battle Managers, BCD, TMDO, ADA liaison, and other relevant parties.

· Recommending changes in air defense status in collaboration with the TMDO and the BCD. Overseeing execution/notification of theater ballistic missile warning and response.

· Maintaining coordination with subordinate C2 agencies, RADC, and SADC. Controlling the Air Defense Command and Control Net (ADCCN).

· Assessing enemy threats and coordinating air defense resources. Collaborating with tactical C2 elements for optimal radio and radar coverage.
