    Job DescriptionSalary: $18 or more, DOE

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Performs daily duties contributing to Beacon's mission of providing an unparalleled patient experience.
    • Answers a multi-line phone system, managing messages and transferring calls to the appropriate department.
    • Prepares patients for appointments and advises them on what to bring, including insurance information and list of medications.
    • Operates computer, fax, copier, and scanner.
    • Works in multiple medical software programs and Microsoft office.
    • Assists in organizing lunches for the clinic.
    • Performs cleaning and stocking schedule for front office, reception area, patient lounge, restrooms, employee meeting rooms, kitchen, and coffee bars for clinic.
    • Tends clinic areas, both patient and employee facing, to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
    • Available to assist Front Office Lead and Supervisor with projects when requested.
    • Assists patients with check-in/out, including completion of intake forms, obtaining identification and insurance information, and collecting payments.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma
    • Medical Office Experience Preferred

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
