- Utilizes excellent customer service standards and Studer principles in communicating with patient, family and coworkers through use of verbal amenities, pleasant facial and body expressions as well as pleasant voice tone
- Provides patient and family education as appropriate
- Documentation of patient history and care as appropriate
- Participation in departmental QAPI process and patient experience initiatives as requested
- Graduate of a formal educational program acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified or eligible for certification by the ARRT
- Licensed or eligible for Indiana State license
- Ability to see and hear
- Ability to concentrate with interruption
- Ability to focus for extended periods of time
- Ability to speak clearly and intelligibly with excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- Understands safety, theories, and concepts related to MRI
- Understanding of the related behaviors and needs appropriate to age (neonate through geriatric)
- Maintains AHA (American Heart Association) BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Venipuncture skills

Description
Responsibilities
Working under moderate supervision, in compliance with regulatory, HIPAA, organizational, and departmental policy and procedure; delivers MRI services to patients ranging in age from neonate through geriatric, using MRI procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner while maintaining the standards of ethics for radiologic technologists.
