    Job DescriptionMedical Collector
    $20-24

    We are in search of a diligent and experienced Medical Collector with 2-5 years of proven experience.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping patients navigate the complexities of medical billing.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Check claim status, collect payments, and file appeals through phone calls, emails, and Payer systems.
    Maintain detailed notes on all accounts worked in RescueNet billing system.
    Review aging reports and prioritize accounts for collection.
    Ensure timely and accurate provision of all requested documentation to Payers.
    Work under supervision to determine appropriate adjustments or payment plans for recovery.
    Stay updated on Payer guidelines and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
    Utilize creative and critical thinking skills to recover payments from Payers and Patients.
    Conduct weekly reviews and assess monthly claims for all Payers.
    Provide compassionate support to patients during interactions by phone and in person.
    Maintain assignment statuses and provide weekly status reports to management, including Payer updates.


    Qualifications:
    Minimum 2 years of experience in medical collections.
    Proficiency in using billing systems, such as RescueNet.
    Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
