    Position Summary

    Position Summary:

    The Student Office Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to the UNM Neurosurgery department. This position assists with daily office operations, departmental organization, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work independently in a professional healthcare environment.

    Student Duties:

    * Collect and distribute radiation badges to faculty, residents, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and clinic staff

    * Distribute departmental mail

    * Collect Faxes for the clinic

    * Assist with maintaining and updating departmental information lists, including: North and South Office door signs, Department Birthdays, Phone numbers and emails

    * Assist with preparation and updates of weekly pocket calendars for the Department Chair, Dr. Harsh

    * Maintain monthly office supply inventory and assist with supply ordering lists

    * Assist with maintaining and updating the North Office television display

    * Assist with department surplus organization and tracking

    * Support departmental social media

    * Assist with departmental inventory tracking and organization

    * Provide support for incoming faculty, current faculty needs, and office relocations

    * Perform other duties as assigned.

    * Current student enrolled at University of New Mexico

    * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
