    The ADHD Area Sales Director leads a team of 8-10 first-line leaders (Regional Director/Sr. Regional Director), who in turn each manage a team of 8-10 specialty sales representatives, who provide product and disease state information in the ADHD market to a broad audience of healthcare professionals, while effectively communicating the clinical profile of Corium's products.
    In this role, you will develop the Area strategy and lead a team of high-performing first line managers.

    You will also work closely with the Head of Sales, your peers and other Senior Leaders across Corium to develop and execute strategies and initiatives that contribute to the overall performance and culture of Corium.

    These activities will include representing Corium sales leadership at individual and group sales presentations to targeted healthcare professionals, analysis of performance data and market trends in order to identify business opportunities, and collaborating with various Headquarters-based

    colleagues/stakeholders

    to develop materials and customer-focused initiatives targeted for a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

    Lead a team of 8-10 first line managers who are responsible for ensuring their teams drive sales results while effectively and compliantly promoting Corium's products to Physicians and other healthcare professionals.

    Review and analyze area and regional performance and market data in order to develop sales strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives.

    Work closely with Head of Sales to develop National strategies focused on delivering results that meet or exceed sales objectives.

    Collaborate with cross-functional Senior Leaders across Corium to develop internal and external customer focused initiatives.
    Act as coach and leader to develop leaders and individual contributors on team.
    Ensure team capability to leverage data and customer knowledge to build discussions around HCP's and patients' needs.

    Monitor and ensure utilization of sales and marketing tools and other resources provided to educate healthcare professionals on Corium's products.

    Establish and cultivate strategic relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals within designated geography.
    Attend all company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed by Corium management.

    Comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance policies and demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.

    Education and Required Licenses


    or Certifications:
    A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required.

    Years of Experience (# of years and type of experience):10+ years of management experience, with previous experience managing high-performing people managers strongly preferred.

    15+ years of

    pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical,

    medical or related sales experience. CNS experience is required.

    Key Skills and Competencies:
    Experience working independently with direct responsibility and accountability for all business within assigned area.
    Ability to utilize performance and market data to create actionable business plans to drive sales results

    Demonstrated track record of leading successful sales leaders and teams in an environment requiring a high level of initiative, accountability and ethical and compliant actions.

    Ability to learn complex scientific and technical information and effectively communicate to a broad audience of healthcare professionals.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    A valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed (including overnights and/or weekends) is required. Overnight travel up to 50% is expected.
    Frequent travel between meeting sites, requiring ability to sit for extended periods of time.
    Frequent use of a computer, telephone, printer or other office equipment.
    Ability to lift up to 20 pounds,
