Overnight Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Overnight Engineer to join our team at Arlo Washington DC.

• Treat guests with courtesy and respect in various situations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs, maintenance of hotel equipment, minor electrical work plumbing, painting etc.

Detailed Record Keeping is required for logs and inspection sheets including taking readings from meters using electric tools to maintain accurate records. The job site must be clean orderly after completion of all jobs assigned by the Director Engineering ensuring that all safety systems operable responding guestroom calls timely manner reporting accidents incidents immediately as they occur maintaining property appearance adhering Health Safety guidelines writing legible reports communicating effectively other staff members staying calm during emergency respond positively follow instructions carefully when handling hazardous materials waste safely disposing them properly while avoiding injuries working long hours overtime if necessary supporting operating departments activities answering queries guests providing excellent customer service explaining situation offering solutions resolve problems pleasantly prompt making informed decisions suitable choices exercising good judgment under pressure following safety protocols regulations trained procedures skills provided prior undergoing mandatory training regularly
